See Season 3 is the final chapter in the epic saga. With how Episode 6 ended, it looks like the final showdown between Pennsa and Trviantia will be nothing short of glorious. Currently, Baba Voss and his family seem to be at a disadvantage.
There’s a lot to unpack in the sixth installment of Season 3. So, if you’re overwhelmed, here’s a complete explanation of this episode. Let’s jump right in.
See Season 3 Episode 6 depicted an alliance between Sibeth Kane and Tormada, who are ready to attack Pennsa. While Haniwa escapes the cannibals, Harlan dies and gives her a key for Maghra. Kofun is captured by the Trivantians, and Baba struggles to regroup.
In Episode 6, Baba Voss, his family, and their allies are all scattered. Maghra and Tamacti Jun are paired up together and remain at Pennsa. On the other hand, Baba, Harlan, Haniwa, Wren, and Kofun are far away from their homeland.
The episode is aptly titled, “The Lowlands”. This is because Baba learns of Tormada’s plans and wishes to return home as soon as possible to inform Maghra.
Meanwhile, Maghra realizes how Lucien and a few other Witchfinders have moved to Sibeth’s side. Due to this, several soldiers are killed, and Tamacti Jun and Maghra become aware of this only after it’s too late.
So, Baba’s group splits into two. Kofun decides to rush to Pennsa to warn his mother, while the remaining people decide to traverse through the Lowlands. However, the Lowlands are full of cannibals, ready to prey upon passersby.
Harlan and Haniwa get captured by them. Baba and Wren decide to pursue the group of cannibals and rescue the other two. While Haniwa is safe, Harlan gets fatally injured. But what’s truly intriguing is that he gives Haniwa a key to a chest and tells her to hand it to Maghra.
He then asks Baba Voss to save his city. Elsewhere, Sibeth and Tormada bump into each other. At first, Sibeth is against the Chief Scientist of Trivantia. But after learning about the explosives, she marries the man and forms an alliance.
We then see Kofun on the borders of Pennsa. Unfortunately, he gets captured by someone, and it is most likely the Witchfinders. This could mean that Sibeth and Tormada are already near Pennsa and all set to attack the State.
The show still has two episodes and it looks like we’re nearing the final showdown. With Sibeth and Tormada’s alliance, Pennsa’s chances seem bleak. However, like the Season 2 finale, Baba and his allies might pull out another trick from the hat and defeat the Trivantians again. I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out.
