After Zombies 2, which premiered on Disney Channel in February 2020, the human, zombie, and werewolf populations in Seabrook are unified in the newest installment to the musical Zombie franchise.
While zombies Zed (Milo Manheim) and Addison (Meg Donnelly) all prepare for their senior year at Seabrook High, an extraterrestrial visit during an important cheer-off threatens to disrupt the harmony in their town.
Seabrook’s residents are not afraid to stand up to the alien interlopers in the new Zombies 3 trailer released on Disney+. When a UFO descends from the skies above the local school, the bright and happy lives of Seabrook’s teens take an unexpectedly dark turn.
The Seabrook crew won’t go down without a fight, especially after a bunch of new blue-haired youths abducts Addison.
Lauren Kisilevsky, Vice President of Original Movies for Disney Branded Television, said the creators wanted to “raise the stakes in this third and final installment” of the Zombies franchise. The humans, zombies, and werewolves must band together to face this unprecedented alien threat together.
In addition to Manheim and Donnelly, the upcoming movie will also feature the return of Chandler Kinney as Wila, Pearce Joza as Wyatt, Ariel Martin as Wynter, Carla Jeffery as Bree, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, and Kylee Russell as Eliza.
New cast members include Terry Hu as A-spen, Kyra Tantao as A-li, Matt Cornett as A-lan, James Godfrey as Bonzo, Kingston Foster as Zoey, and RuPaul Charles as the voice of The Mothership.
Zombies 3 is directed by Paul Hoenn and will premiere on Disney+ on July 15, 2022, and on Disney Channel on August 12, 2022.
