Carrie decides to go on a second date with Peter. While the events of the previous date will serve as an icebreaker to ease the tension, it’s hard to say if either of them is actually ready for a serious relationship. Carrie even tells Miranda that she can’t imagine herself sleeping with any man other than Big. How will her next date with Peter go?

Miranda tries to revive her sex life with Steve but it doesn’t seem to work out as she hoped. She runs into Che again who casually tells her she should’ve just texted them again. While there does seem to be some hesitance on Miranda’s part, she sleeps with them again and even tells them she loves them. With Miranda becoming more serious about Che, she will have to tell her husband about her affair soon.

In the teaser, we see Che tell Miranda that they’re not a homewrecker and that she needs to figure out her life before they can continue their relationship. Towards the end of the teaser, we see Miranda sit down with Steve to have the conversation with him. How will Steve react to finding out that she cheated on him? Find out in the next episode.

Carrie finishes working on her new book and sends a copy to her editor. Her editor tells her that while the book is raw and well written, the subject matter is too heavy and she needs to give her readers a glimmer of hope and suggests that she try dating again.

Carrie is initially averse to the idea but when she brings it up at dinner, Seema tells her she’s already had a dating app profile ready for Carrie. After some more encouragement from her friends, she ends up going on a date with a teacher named Peter. Peter is also a widower and admits this is his first date since his wife died. The two seem to have a good time but the night takes a turn for the worst when they have a little too much to drink and both of them end up puking in the street.

Carrie sees the man again at an auction event held by Charlotte’s kids’ school and tries her best to avoid him. He bids on a date with her, seemingly to save her from the embarrassment of having no bids other than an overzealous Charlotte. He suggests going out again and Carrie agrees. At the same event, Miranda has an awkward encounter with Che and confronts them about not answering her DM from three months ago. The two end up sleeping together again.

And Just Like That… is an upcoming American comedy-drama television series. It serves as a 10-part reboot of Sex and the City and is set to premiere on HBO Max in late 2021.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon reprise their roles as Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda. Newly joining the series will be Nicole Ari Parker, Sara Ramirez, Sarita Choudhury and Karen Pittman.
