While Billy is initially willing to help he backtracks upon learning of Deran’s intentions to break Pope out of jail. He tries to talk him out of it but fails and ends up giving him his prison contact’s information. Pope has a vision of Baz while he’s in jail.

Animal Kingdom Season 6 Episode 11 Recap
The Cody family decides to break Pope out of jail. Deran reaches out to Billy to find out if he has any contacts in prison from when he was there. When Billy confirms, Deran asks him to obtain blueprints of the prison. Deran avoids telling him why but Billy presses on it and he ends up revealing his plan to break Pope out of jail.
Billy feels hesitant about sharing his contact and claims that Pope being in prison is actually a good thing. Deran persists and manages to get the intel from him. Meanwhile, Craig makes his own plans of escaping Oceanside by moving to Singapore. J assembles and liquidates his assets.
In prison, Pope is sent to solitary confinement. He has a vision of Baz, who tells him he’s not responsible for Catherine’s death. He realizes that it was actually Smurf who should be carrying the blame and that he had been manipulated. It was Smurf that caused Baz’s death as well.
