Netflix’s Glitch Makes Army of the Dead Opening Credits Disappears

A Netflix glitch caused Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead to mysteriously lose its opening credits text. The director’s new zombie-heist film arrived this year after WB finally released Justice League Snyder Cut.

Even though Army of the Dead became a big hit for Netflix, it got mixed reactions. The streaming service did not wait much long to work on extending the franchise into several different projects.

Twitter user @ZackSnyderBible spotted the change in the title’s opening scene, which showed a black screen with texts disappearing from the sequence.

As pointed out in the tweet, it seems like a probable glitch. Well, Snyder movies tend to change a lot, sometimes for better but sometimes for worse (*ahem* Josstice League *ahem*).

This isn’t the first time that the film has had technical problems. When Army of the Dead first arrived on Netflix, many viewers watching the film in 4k noticed dead pixels in some of the frames.

The reason given was that Snyder used older lenses on newer digital cameras, which possibly led to those problems that couldn’t be fixed in post. (Via Screenrant)

Snyder has no plans of returning to DC’s SnyderVerse, and Netflix is panning out new projects in the Army of The Dead franchise like hotcakes.

With the prequel film Army of Thieves, getting its first teaser a few days ago, and a prequel anime series, Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, in development, the franchise will have a lot to unpack.
