In last week’s episode, Jimmy wakes up to find Kim awake and unable to sleep and offers to make her some coffee after admitting to her that he’s relieved that Lalo is gone. Meanwhile, Howard gets increasingly frustrated after he realizes that Jimmy is continuing his attempts to sabotage his reputation. He poses as a client and has Jimmy do a house call to the location of a boxing ring, where he challenges Jimmy to a match to put an end to their enmity once and for all. Despite winning the match, Howard isn’t so sure that Jimmy will stop.

The next day, he breaks into her house while she’s at work. However, she comes home early and nearly catches him in the act but Lalo manages to escape. Will he kill Margarethe?

Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 5 Recap
Kim is restless and has trouble sleeping. She blocks the entrance door with a chair and decides to get a jump start on work. Jimmy joins her and expresses that he’s glad that Lalo is dead, revealing that he doesn’t know that Lalo is still out there. Gus is also extremely anxious about Lalo resurfacing and planning his attack on him.
Meanwhile, Howard makes an impressive pitch at the nursing home regarding the class-action lawsuit that he is leading. Cliff later confronts him in private and brings up the fact that he saw him throw a sex worker out of his car and that he should get help. Howard connects the dots and traces this back to Jimmy. Jimmy, on the other hand, struggles to adjust to his new office, which only seems to have a single desk in an empty space and he has to coax his Secretary into staying with another bonus after she sees the state of the place.
Jimmy’s last client of the day is a man named Mr. Ward, for whom Jimmy has to do a house call.
The man turns out to be Howard, and he tells Jimmy he’s tired of their rivalry and challenges him to a boxing match to hash things out once and for all. Jimmy ends up losing the match. Despite winning the match, Howard isn’t sure Jimmy will stop coming after him. He hires a private investigator to follow Jimmy.
