Billions Season 6 Episode 10, titled Johnny Favorite, saw Mike Prince in a celebratory mood. Looking at the state of how things unfolded in this episode, it’d be safe to assume that Prince is living his best life at the moment.
After forcing Chuck Rhoades into retirement and scheming a grand secret plan with Scooter, Prince has basically “slain his dragon.” As he quite literally admits to Wendy, he wants to have the people around him respect, love, and fear him and believes he’s the greatest person to exist in a long time.
Everything seems to be in his favor. So even though it was an unexpected turn of events to see Rian sleep with Prince just moments after denying Taylor’s advances at the party due to professional reasons, it wasn’t exactly that big of a shock.
However, it does raise the question of how Taylor would react if they found out about Rian getting it on with Prince.
Rian is the type of person who would not go out of her way to reveal something like this to Taylor when she just rejected them.
As for Taylor, they might seem a bit disappointed at first. However, as they usually seem to be pragmatic, they might grow indifferent to it over time.
The real question here is how Andy, Prince’s ex-wife, would react when she finds out about it. After all, Prince had been making solid promises to make things right with his family and focus on their relationship more.
Episode 10 must’ve been the calm before the storm for Prince. Wendy is writing for her book, and now she basically has a confession from Prince about sabotaging Chuck’s position as Attorney General. So if Wendy decides to expose this piece of information, and to tie it in, if the next episode shows his ex-wife finding out about Rian, it would flip it all for Prince.
The summary for Episode 11 also predicts that for Prince, things will change for the worse,
“Prince’s plan is put in jeopardy when Chuck unleashes a new kind of attack. Meanwhile, a discovery sets off chaos at Michael Prince Capital. Prince makes an announcement that pushes the tension between Philip and Taylor to the boiling point.”
Billions Season 6 Episode 11 Preview:
As this love-triangle/square part of the plot kind of lies on the sidelines, the promo for Episode 11 did not have any mention of it. So we might have to wait and watch how things unfold when/if Taylor and Andy find out about Rian and Prince.
