Katee Sackhoff, the Star Wars actress who brought Bo-Katan Kryze to life in The Mandalorian, has teased a potential reunion with Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano in the upcoming Ahsoka series.
Bo-Katan and Ahsoka have a history in the animated series but have yet to meet in live-action. This makes fans eager to see them together again and curious about what the Ahsoka show will explore.
The Mandoverse Updates Twitter account reported that Sackhoff visited the Ahsoka set but did not reveal if she was reprising her role as Bo-Katan.
Considering how many other Star Wars characters will join the show, it makes sense to expect Sackhoff to reprise her role as Bo-Katan in Ahsoka.
Bo-Katan and Ahsoka have a connection that was hinted at in The Mandalorian season 2, so it would be strange if she didn’t show up at some point.
Bo-Katan and Ahsoka meeting again would continue their story from The Mandalorian season 2 and explore their past from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. The two started off as foes, when Bo-Katan was part of a radical group called the Mandalorian Death Watch.
However, after Maul seized Mandalore, Bo-Katan asked Ahsoka to help her free the planet. The two became loyal allies for years after that.
Even though they never met in Rebels, they must have kept in touch for Bo-Katan to know Ahsoka’s location as she hunted for Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Bo-Katan would be an ideal partner to assist Ahsoka in taking down Thrawn, as she would want to keep chasing Imperial warlords after the Empire ravaged Mandalore. Ezra Bridger also aided the Mandalorians before the Great Purge, meaning Bo-Katan would likely be willing to help locate him.
However, Sabine Wren will reappear in Ahsoka, and it’s unclear how she and Bo-Katan will get along now.
All these scenarios make a Bo-Katan and Ahsoka reunion very enticing, so fingers crossed and hoping that Sackhoff was doing more than just dropping by on set.
