SEARCHING - Official Trailer (HD)

What do teenagers think of doing when their parents decide to go on a trip? A lot of booze and partying, right?

That’s what excites June (Storm Reid) when her mom (Nia Long) tells her about her vacation in Columbia. Like any other teenager, she couldn’t care less about the safety rules her mom lists over FaceTime.

Made it to Columbia!

Catastrophe strikes when June least expects it. Her mom doesn’t return on her scheduled flight. She tries every way possible to contact her but gets greeted by silence everywhere. Her mom is missing!

Stuck thousands of miles away from Columbia, June creatively uses all her online resources and tries to find her mom before it is too late.

Everything seems to fail as 911 doesn’t bother much, and neither does anyone from Columbia’s US Embassy.

As she digs deeper into her mom’s life, more questions arise than answers.

June realizes that she never knew her mom for who she was.

Will June be able to navigate through this ordeal? Or will she fall prey to the vicious monsters her mom is hiding in her past?
