Cara Delevingne Joins as Alice in Only Murders in the Building

Last time, we told you that Alice would be one of the new characters appearing in Only Murders in the Building Season 2. Now, we can put a face to that name, as Cara Delevingne has been cast for the role!

Delevingne will join as a series regular, as Alice is said to have a significant role in the story ahead. At the time of casting, the show was looking to portray Alice as a British woman in her 30s—and Delevingne does fit the bill.

Alice is said to be an astute and accomplished artist who has great connections within the industry, particularly in Manhattan. Another piece to her background is that she founded the Third Arm Gallery and Collective, and as a curator, has built a reputation for creating safe spaces for artists.

In short, she’s the person you need to know!

Only Murders Season 1 ended with the podcast squad finally solving the murder of Tim Kono, only to be dragged right into the murder of Bunny as suspects.

The show has quite a few loose strings to untangle that will play a major role in Season 2. It will be fun to discover how all the characters, including Delevingne’s Alice, will be part of the mystery.

While material gains were not the previous killer’s motives, Alice’s ties to the exclusive art community and all its priceless work could be connected to the new murderer’s intentions. (Look at me, already making up theories!)

Two of the other new members of Season 2’s ensemble, that is Lucy and Nina Kim, remain uncast.

Production was hinted to begin in November, but it is very well possible that searching for the perfect cast has pushed back filming. In any case, it is lovely to have Delevingne on board—the already star-studded cast has added another bling to its hat!
