TV Series Chucky confirms its Season 2 premiere date via an announcement teaser released by SYFY. The American horror show is a part of the Child’s Play horror franchise, serving as a direct sequel to the franchise’s seventh film, Cult of Chucky.

In the show, Chucky returns to the world, and this time his new victims, archenemies, and allies, all lie in wait in the little town of Hackensack. Don Mancini, the creator of the OG Child’s Play, helms the show as director and writer.
The show’s first season was a hit among critics and audiences alike with its mature themes, including murder, bullying, and sexuality. The show’s premiere was one of the top-rated premieres on TV in 2021, and critics have commended the series in terms of horror and the analysis of trauma and psychological burdens.
Yesterday, SYFY released a teaser trailer which included the release date’s announcement. The teaser video features a shot of a pumpkin carved with an impression of the famed Chucky doll will a knife sticking out of the Halloween fruit.
The Halloween theme already suggests a fall premiere for the show, which is later confirmed in a shot, setting October 5 as the official release date.
Of course, this is only the newest update for Season 2 of Chucky. It has already been revealed that Chucky and Tiffany’s child, Glen/Glenda, will be making an appearance in the upcoming season. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress Lachlan Watson will be playing the role of the genderfluid doll who fans must remember seeing in the 2004 film Seed of Chucky.
Who will fall victim to Chucky’s knife in Season 2? How will Chucky exact revenge on all who have wronged him? What fate awaits Glen/Glenda? Will Chucky get revenge on Jake, Devon, Lexy, and Tiffany in the upcoming season? Fans will just have to wait till the first week of October to get answers to all their questions.
