Jackie attempts to get the truth about Dominique’s death by interrogating the coroner but she refuses to give him any information. However, he manages to get the information he needed after speaking to two FBI agents about one of his old cases.
Ward struggles with his father’s decision to not seek treatment for his cancer. The frustration gets to him and he ends up getting into a huge argument with his brother, which Franklin has to break up. Franklin points out to Louie to consider that there are problems with the establishment as a whole.
Jenny reaches a tipping point and punches her father in the face after Doyle shows up at her house along with Jackie. Meanwhile, Siobhan struggles to deal with her post-shooting trauma. Ward attempts to convince his father to take treatment for his disease one last time. His father passes away later that night.
