Netflix released the third season installment of Cobra Kai on New Year’s day, and it has been on the talks ever since. Over the span of three seasons, the series has showcased a deep connection with the Karate Kid films it is based on.

But season 3, in particular, is packed with Karate Kid references and delightful Easter eggs. The fans who have watched the show with X-ray eyes would have already recognized all the references that were made in the latest season.

But for some casual viewers who must have missed the references, Netflix has got you covered. The streaming giant recently released an official video on their YouTube channel where they pointed out and broke down about 23 Easter eggs and references from the season. Check it out below:

Characters from the Karate Kid films have also been known to make appearances (whether as cameos or other essential roles) in Cobra Kai throughout the seasons, like Ali Mills, who was teased in the season 3 finale. More characters from the Miyagi-verse are also expected to appear in the future season(s?) of Cobra Kai.

Of course, there may be many more references in the season that we must have missed. But that only tells us how much of an effort is put into making the series. Every scene in Cobra Kai is planned well in detail, including some of the iconic Karate Kid references.

Cobra Kai has been watched in over 40 million households and counting since it moved onto Netflix. The show has garnered a loyal fan base because of its originality, even after being based on the Karate Kids films.
