Spider-Man NWH: Is That an Iron Man Arc Reactor on Electro’s Chest?

A few new teaser trailers have given us a better look at Jamie Foxx’s Electro sporting an Iron Man-esque arc reactor on his chest!

First, it was Doc Ock with his new nanotech and upgraded tentacles. Now, it seems possible that Electro stole from Stark Tech as well. Two trailers have close-ups of Electro that show an arc reactor embedded on the right side of his chest.

Electro’s new look has been gaining fan approval since it’s more loyal to the conventional comic book costume. And while Electro stealing Stark Tech in the past is also true to the comics, there are no storylines that have him steal an arc reactor.

Nevertheless, the arc reactor is a great asset as he can rely on it to control his powers and switch back to his human avatar more easily.

Now, there is also a possibility that both Electro and Doctor Ock have a middle man who’s getting them their cool upgrades.

Some speculate that it could be Michael Keaton’s Vulture who sells them some of the stolen goods, as he does in Homecoming. In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Keaton mentioned that he is reprising his role as Vulture and will film a few scenes soon. What he didn’t reveal was the project he was working on.

Another character who also fits this bill is Tinkerer, who we see alongside Vulture in Homecoming. Tinkerer is someone who can create mind-blowing upgrades even with the simplest household equipment. So, the Sinister Six asking for his expertise wouldn’t be too far off.

One factor that is definitely confusing all of us is how many of the actors are playing the same villains from the Maguire and Garfield movies. (I’m still wondering how Electro makes the transition from blue skin to gold sparkles.)

Electro, Sandman and Lizard

Alfred Molina has confirmed that he will be the same Doc Ock from the Raimiverse. But does that apply to Electro, Sandman, Green Goblin, and Lizard, as well?

This only goes to show that even with the multiple leaks and promo material being thrown our way, there is so much that No Way Home can surprise us with!
