Spider-Man: No Way Home has dropped a new IMAX teaser. It calls to discuss what’s up with Spidey, Strange, and that peculiar-looking box.
Once again, the trailer does not have any jarringly new footage. There are some cool shots that focus on Electro and a few scenes that look like Peter being stuck in a mirror dimension, courtesy of Strange.
If you have noticed that Peter and Strange seem to be at odds with each other, you’re not wrong.
A popular theory is that after Peter approaches Strange to fix his problem, and they both mess up the spell (yes, let’s not point fingers yet!), Strange tries to contain some of its elements in a box. This box also has his signature Vishanti symbol on it.
Pay close attention to the purple tears visible while Strange is trying to carry out his spell.
When the multiverse opens up, spitting out all the villains, Peter wants to use the box to make everything right. That is, instead of fighting the villains, Peter wants to send them back to their universe.
This is where Strange and Peter disagree with their respective strategies, and we see them trying to foil each other’s plans.
Whatever ends up happening between them, it seems as though the box has reopened. The purple tears once again reappear in the sky, with Strange exclaiming, “They’re starting to come through, and I can’t stop them.”
Perhaps, we are getting ahead of ourselves. All of these theories are quite fascinating, but I’d still recommend taking it easy and letting the movie surprise you when it comes out in two weeks.
Plus, the IMAX experience promises to elevate the movie even more.
All with the hullabaloo of sold-out tickets, movie leaks, and the possibility of seeing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back in their Spider-Man costumes, No Way Home is shaping up to be the movie of the year!

Spider-Man: No Way Home is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It is intended to be the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The film was directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man. He is joined by Zendaya, J,B. Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina. The film is not yet available for streaming on Disney+ but the BluRay package is set to arrive March 22.
It will pick up from the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home whose ending revealed Peter’s Spider-Man identity to the world. Numerous villains from previous movies such as Doctor Octopus and Electro are also set to return.
