Chris Hemsworth is once again back as Thor, the God of Thunder, for his fourth solo film, Thor: Love and Thunder, helmed by Taika Waititi. After skipping Thor: Ragnarok, Natalie Portman returns to the series as Jane Foster and the newly minted Mighty Thor.
Among its cast are Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, the entire Guardians of the Galaxy gang, Russell Crowe as Zeus, and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.
Thor: Love and Thunder has drummed up plenty of anticipation due to the high star power attached and goodwill following Ragnarok. COVID-19 caused multiple delays to the release of the movie, as it was originally scheduled for November 2021.
Marvel Studios delayed the start of the film’s marketing campaign until April 2022, which kept fans waiting. Since then, its crazy visuals, fun tone, big action, and a central love story have been highlighted by a flood of trailers.
After its Hollywood red carpet premiere on June 23, 2022, the social media reactions to the movie have taken over. Audiences are flooded with Thor: Love and Thunder reactions to let them know what they should look forward to in the MCU Phase 4 movie.
In addition to the marvelous cast, Portman’s inclusion as Mighty Thor has already been called one of the movie’s most successful elements, by those who have already seen the film.
As for all the buildup surrounding Bale returning to superhero films but this time, as a villain, it appears to have been well-placed, given the praise he is receiving for his tremendous performance as Gorr.

The early reactions indicate that regardless of whether or not Thor 4 is one of the most stellar movies of the franchise, it easily is a very entertaining one. Waititi had already wowed audiences with Thor: Ragnarok, which many consider to be among the best films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While Thor: Love and Thunder has its critics, the fact that it’s funnier and offers a more heartfelt story than its predecessor may make audiences reconsider their reviews. Nonetheless, Marvel Studios can rest assured that this film will be a big success.

Thor: Love and Thunder is a MCU movie and the fourth installation in the Thor series. It is directed by Ragnarok’s director, Taika Waititi, and will show Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman reprising their roles as Thor Odinson and Dr. Jane Foster.
The movie will be based on The Mighty Thor comics in which Thor Odinson loses the ability to lift Mjolnir, and Jane Foster takes on the role of Mighty Thor. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Thor teams up with The Guardians of the Galaxy for a short time, leaving Valkyrie as the ruler of New Asgard.
