Cal goes on a drinking binge and visits the bar he went to with his high school sweetheart. He ends up getting kicked out and returns home to drunkenly blurt out that he’s gay to his whole family.
He takes a family photo of them and seems to leave the home or good. Will Cal and Marsha separate? Is Cal going to get into trouble for his reckless behavior?
Lexi continues to keenly observe her surroundings and notices slightest change in Cassie’s weight because of all the upheaval in her personal life. Will she include the fact that Cassie has been hooking up with Nate in her play?
Maddy reassures Kat that she shouldn’t be so hard on herself about not having the feelings she’s ‘supposed to have.’ So will Kat break up with Ethan?
Lastly, Rue continues to be on a bender and is slowly pushing away all her loved ones. She misses her father and continues to overindulge in drugs just so she can hallucinate his image and feel close to him again.
OST composer for the show, artist Labrinth makes an appearance in episode 4 in Rue’s hallucination. There is an uncanny feeling that something is coming in the next episode.

Chapter 6 of the Euphoria Season 2 series, titled “Stand Still Like the Hummingbird”, has been released on Sunday, Feb 06, 2022 at 6:00 pm PDT.

Euphoria Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
The episode starts with a montage of Rue and Jules reimagined as imagery representing love. When Rue fakes an orgasm, Jules confides in Elliot about it. The two end up kissing and continue doing so every time Rue isn’t in the room.
Nate visits Maddy at her babysitting gig and the two have a conversation about love. This prompts Cassie to confront Nate about whether he’s going to get back together with Maddy.
The two have an argument and Cassie leaves after vowing that she won’t let him ruin Maddy’s life again. Lexi continues to hold auditions for her play and looks at actors for the role she’s modeled after Cassie.
Cassie hosts Maddy’s birthday party at the Howard residence and makes a scrapbook with pictures of both of them as a gift. Cassie is nervous about Nate coming to the party later and indulges herself in one too many drinks.
She ends up vomiting in the hot tub right when Maddy and Nate get into another argument. The girls shriek and jump out of the tub and Cassie is taken upstairs by her mother.
Elliot, Rue, and Jules continue their game of truth or dare. Elliot suggests stealing some liquor from a local convenience store. Elliot tells Rue not to drink since she shouldn’t be mixing alcohol with all the drugs she’s taking.
Jules also asks her not to drink and Rue cruelly lashes out at her and demands to be taken home. She ends up getting out of the car and walking back to her house. Elliot comes clean to Jules about Rue’s relapse and the two of them spend the night together.
