Kristen’s daughters tell her about the meme, and one of them accompanies her and David to an affected teenager. Kristen’s daughter happens to know the boy and they learn about ‘Wandering Jack’ – an entity that threatens to kill you and your family if you do not perform a list of seven tasks in seven days. While following up on a lead for the case, David receives a phone call from the Vatican Secret Service assigning him his task.

Lynn tries to convince Ren to come out of his room by telling him that ‘Wandering Jack’ is just a hoax done by a college student who is living in an abandoned house. However, Ren persists that it’s real and asks them about the other six locations. Ben discovers similar blurred figures in all six locations when he looks them up. Eventually, they discover that two college students worked together to concoct the meme and they picked houses where brutal deaths had occurred to make it seem more believable.
