Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 9 Recap
The episode starts with a group of children boarding a bus heading to Mujin Academy. However, there is a change of route after a man named Bang Gu Ppong introduces himself as the Chief of the Children’s Liberation Army. He tells the children that the aim of his Army is to liberate children from intensive academic pressures and allow them to just have fun.
Gu Ppong’s mother, who is also the director of the academy, recruits the firm to defend him in the child kidnapping case against him. Young Woo is assigned this case, and she struggles to understand the defendant, who seems a little too nonchalant about the prospect of going to prison.
Young Woo asks Gu Ppong what he did with the children he kidnapped for the duration that they were missing. He flippantly replies that they had an enlistment ceremony in which they vowed to be happy and healthy and then played games on the mountain for a couple of hours.
During the trial, the Hanbada team struggles to build their case as Gu Ppong simply admits to the allegations against him. Later that day, Young Woo comes up with a special plan to obtain non-punishment letters from the parents of the children that were kidnapped.
