Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 14 Recap
After Myeong Seok collapses in court, the Hanbada team finds out about his Stage 3 stomach cancer. Myeong Seok reassures the team by revealing that he intends to get surgery upon returning to the mainland and that he already booked one before coming to Jeju island.
Young Woo suggests that they find the owner of the Haenbok noodles shop.
The team decides to split up and find the owner so that Myeong Seok can experience eating Haenbak noodles again. Jun Ho discovers that Haenbak noodles went out of business because a rival shop stole their idea and stole all their profits by promoting their shop more aggressively. The owner decided to leave and go to a tranquil location in the mountains.
Young Woo points out that this location could be the Mountain Water Nursing home and actually ends up meeting the owner’s mother upon her visit. After the latest court proceeding, Young Woo starts to feel frustrated as the Cultural Heritage Act is making it difficult for them to build their case.
She reaches out to Myeong Seok at the hospital and learns that his ex-wife is visiting him at the hospital. Seeing the two of them interact prompts Young Woo to call her father and she expresses her fears about Jun Ho feeling lonely in their relationship.
