In last week’s episode, John attempts to speak to Victor about Howard to try to get him to consider new leadership. Victor continues to suppress the resistance against him and has anyone found with a walkie-talkie thrown off the tower. When Howard is found with a walkie, he almost has him thrown off as well, but he gives him a chance to redeem himself when Baby Mo goes missing. John is also tasked with locating Baby Mo, who he eventually finds with June. John decides to take Baby Mo to Morgan himself and ends up sacrificing his life in the process.

John decides to walk through the walker moat and take Baby Mo to Morgan himself. He uses makeshift armor to get past her but ends up getting bitten. He hands the baby to Morgan who gets threatened by Victor—he tells him he’ll kill Grace and June if he ever steps foot in the tower. John sacrifices his life to save Baby Mo.

Chapter 13 of the Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 series, titled “The Raft”, has been released on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 6:00 pm PDT.

The episode starts with Victor Strand having people thrown off the tower after they were found with walkie-talkies as he suspected them of being part of the resistance against him. John talks to Victor about Howard in an attempt to consider different leadership. A walkie-talkie is found on Howard as well and Victor almost has him thrown off the roof.

Howard tries to tell Victor that he’s being framed. Victor gets a phone call informing him that Baby Mo is missing from the tower. He tells Howard to prove his loyalty by finding Baby Mo and that if he doesn’t find her by sunrise he’ll have him killed. He later tells John to look for Baby Mo as well, since he no longer trusts Howard. John speaks to the baby’s nanny and questions the others but no one seems to know about her whereabouts. Eventually, he finds Baby Mo with June, who was attempting to sneak her out of the tunnels.

Charlie’s condition gets worse and it is revealed that John also caught radiation sickness while rescuing Charlie. John ends up confessing to Victor when they’re up on the roof that he was the one who framed Howard. Despite this, Victor forces John to push Howard off the roof. John ends up drinking again in Howard’s room. He’s later joined by Victor, who reveals his plans to raise Baby Mo by himself. John knocks Victor out with the back of a gun.
