Marvel just released the final poster of the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and it features five different variants of Doctor Strange along with multiple variants of Wanda. The trailer already gave a glimpse at the multiple variants of Stephen Strange, but the poster makes it clearer.
The Multiverse of Madness is set after the events of the recently released Spider-Man: No Way Home where Doctor Strange almost made the universe collapse as he tried to make the world forget that Peter Parker was Spiderman. The film is all set to be the most important upcoming MCU film as it is expected to explain a lot about the multiverse and introduce major characters in the MCU.
In the trailer that was released earlier, fans were introduced to a new variant of Stephen Strange aka Evil Strange, drawing from the storyline of Marvel’s animated series ‘What If..?’. Apart from Evil Strange, the trailer also teased the appearance of Defender Strange and Zombie Strange.
The final poster reveals five variants of Doctor Strange, all of whom look like the OG Stephen Strange. Though it is not clear whether this is just an artistic representation of the character or actually denotes five different variants, some of them do look different from others.
Two of the variants are seen sporting different looks while two look quite similar to each other. This is simply boosting Marvel’s mammoth promotions of the film, which have been working pretty well in garnering excitement and interest for the upcoming film.
The poster also features multiple variants of Wanda and offers a new look at other characters, such as Rintrah, Wong, Mordo, and Christine. One of Wanda’s variants could be Evil Wanda, who is casting a spell on America Chavez and Wong.
It is confirmed that Multiverse of Madness will feature multiple variants of Strange and Wanda, but nothing is confirmed about other characters such as Wong and Mordo, who also feature in three different looks or images in the poster.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will release in theatres on May 6, 2022. You can watch the other MCU movies on Disney+.
