F.X. Networks released a teaser trailer of the acclaimed series, Snowfall’s season 5. The company also announced the premiere date. With two more months to go, fans definitely can’t keep calm.
Snowfall season 5 trailer shows the young 20s Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), the kingpin of the drug cartel and the biggest drug lord, now being uber-rich and doing things he only ever dreamt of. But the greed seeps too deep in and starts to destroy him and his family.
The conflicts arising from Franklin and his family’s wrong choices end up getting more and more dangerous. Top that with more clashes between Franklin’s team and the L.A.P.D. and C.R.A.S.H. agents, and the audience has a thrilling season 5 of Snowfall coming soon.
The trailer also introduces Franklin’s new lover, Veronique (Devyn Tyler). It seems that the drug lord is building walls to keep away people – even his family members – and only letting Veronique in.
Franklin has also learned flying, a gem added to his luxurious lifestyle while living in a posh area and leaving his home – the streets of South Central, Los Angeles – behind.
The severe cracking down of dealers and gangs also begins when a famous basketball player Len Bias dies from the crack Franklin peddled. The clip shows guns blazing, checking and peddling money and drugs, and a whole lot more.
In the end, Franklin foreshadows the trouble and says,
Nothing tears a family apart like money.

Meanwhile, Snowfall season 4 saw Franklin try his best to balance the burgeoning crack epidemic when it became evident it was destroying the youth and the place they love dearly – South Central, Los Angeles.
The previous season also focused on the politicians and the L.A.P.D.’s tussle with the drug mafia. But things heat up in season 5 when a famous personality dies, and it makes headlines across the country.
Snowfall season 5 will premiere on February 23, 2022, and will be available to stream on Hulu.
