After many DC shows getting cancelled and the merger of WB and Discovery, one would think that the studio would lose hope and their creative edge. However, Gotham knights, proved that is not the case. The show garnered some positive attention after the trailer’s release in June 2022.
And now the show is upping its marketing strategy by having Two-Face’s actor share a BTS video of the make-up process.
Misha Collins, who plays Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the upcoming DC show, shared a twenty-second clip on Twitter, showing the beginning of the prosthetics that will finally bring Two-face’s look from the comics on-screen. The lip scar and bared teeth on one side of the mouth are the tell-tale signs of the character, present on Collins’ face in the post.
The trailer shared the main plot for Gotham Knights and how Turner, Bruce Wayne’s adopted son, joins hands with the children of Batman’s biggest enemies to uncover the truth behind his father’s death. The lengthy trailer teased a new female Robin but didn’t feature any other villains or heroes in comic-accurate suits.
Thus, this tease from Collins does give DC fans some hope to see a good representation of the Gotham Knights on the CW.
The show will use a different set-up from other Batman spinoffs as the titular group will have to work independently due to being hunted by the police and dodging villains, which is tricky since some of the kids are spawns of said antagonists.
The show hasn’t received a good enough reception yet, but we hope that will change once the pilot airs since the CW needs a revival in its DC TV show ratings.
The show is set to premiere on CW on March 14, 2023, and we hope other characters get the chance to have a satisfactory on-screen depiction like Harvey Dent.

It is set to be released on October 21, 2022, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
