Halo Episode 6: Release Date, Recap, and Speculation

In last week’s episode, the UNSC starts excavating a site on John’s home planet upon the revelation of another relic.

John has his suspicions about Dr. Halsey having known the truth about his childhood and hidden it from him on purpose and he confides in Captain Keyes about this.

Meanwhile, Kwan’s mission has a temporary setback as Soren chains her to their getaway bike after they barely escape the assassin. The Covenant attack on the excavation site leaves Kai gravely injured.

Halo Episode 6 Speculation

When Master Chief interfaces with the relic again, he has a flashback that makes him realize he was actually abducted into the Spartan program.

He confronts Dr. Halsey over this as it becomes increasingly clear to him that she’d been lying to him. However, Cortana incapacitates him before he can harm Dr. Halsey.

He wakes up to witness the full force of the Covenant attacking the UNSC excavation site on his home planet.

The Covenant leave behind Makee as they withdraw their forces. She is to pose as an unsuspecting human who got caught in the battle and infiltrate the UNSC.

Will she succeed in her mission? What will happen to Soren and Kwan now that they no longer see eye to eye? Find out in the next episode.

Halo Episode 6 Release Date

Chapter 6 of the Halo Season 1 series, titled “The Bad Tactician”, has been released on Thursday, Apr 28, 2022 at 12:00 am PDT.

Halo Episode 5 Recap

Once John reveals that the second artifact is on his home planet, a full excavation sanctioned by the UNSC is underway, under the supervision of Dr. Halsey.

Master Chief is told to maintain some distance from the excavation site of the relic, considering how he’s formed a sensitivity to it.

He starts to notice that Kai has started to display similar symptoms as she’s overwhelmed with the sudden sense of autonomy and a flood of emotions.

Meanwhile, on Madrigal, Kwan resolves to take back leadership of the insurgent movement against the UNSC but there is friction between her and Soren. He then chains her to their getaway bike as he feels the situation has gotten too out of control.

Kwan manages to escape and tracks Soren through the desert and knocks him out. John opens up to Captain Keyes about his experience interfacing with the relic and cites his suspicions about Dr. Halsey having deliberately hid his memories from him.

Things take an interesting turn when the relic throws an emission that knocks out everyone except Master Chief.

Its also at this time that Makee and the covenant are investigating the sister site on Madrigal and the energy signature is detected by Makee, making her aware of its location.
