Has Marvel Already Revealed How ‘WandaVision’ Ends in a Different Project?

Marvel might have indirectly revealed the answer to a central mystery of WandaVision in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the only MCU film to be set in the post-Snap world. Ever since the trailer of the show dropped, fans have been wondering how Vision is alive and kicking in Westview, when Thanos killed him in Infinity War. Has he been resurrected? Will he come back in the future MCU movies? These are some questions that are on the fans’ minds.

WandaVision debuted on Disney+ in early January and gave fans a unique superhero story: Wanda and Vision try to live a peaceful married life in the idyllic suburbia of Westview. Their life plays out like a sitcom, and very soon they start to realize that something is wrong with reality.

Vision’s Corpse in Episode 4

Every episode has helped peel back the mystery of how Westview came to be and who the residents are in the town. Vision being alive has puzzled many fans. Recent episodes have revealed that Wanda stole the synthezoid’s body from a secure S.W.O.R.D. facility and is using her powers to animate him inside Westview.

Although some things from inside Westview have retained their shape even outside of it (case in point, Monica Rambeau’s ’70s-inspired sitcom clothes), it is highly unlikely that Vision will be alive outside Westview. Marvel seems to have already sealed his fate when Vision was shown as one of the fallen Avengers in Spider-Man: Far From Home. In terms of timeline, Far From Home takes place months after WandaVision, so it is safe to say that Vision does not make it back.

Of course, it is possible that S.W.O.R.D. is able to bring Vision back somehow, and keeps it a secret until later. But for now, it seems like Wanda will be the only titular character to emerge unscathed from Westview.

What do you think? Would you like to see Vision be resurrected?
