Lucky Fan Can Live In House of Gucci Villa Via Airbnb

You, too, can live in the luxury of the Guccis for one night at the iconic Villa Balbiano, which is heavily featured in House of Gucci. The villa is now listed on Airbnb!

In the film, Villa Balbiano is owned by Al Pacino’s Aldo Gucci. It is a summer house on Lake Como in northern Italy and is only leased privately to an exclusive clientele.

Before you start packing your bags, let’s look at some of the terms and conditions: The villa will be available for a one-night stay only on March 20, 2022. The booking for the same will start this December 6.

The guest making a book will need to be 18+ and have a verified Airbnb profile with multiple positive ratings. As of now, it’s unknown if the booking is on a first-come-first-serve basis, via a lucky draw or some other method.

The price to rent this whole villa (six bedrooms and baths with stunning interiors, the impressive courtyard, and the waterfront view) is $1,131. However, the guest renting can bring along only one other guest.

A few other house rules are having no other outside guests, maintaining quiet hours, no smoking or partying as well as complying with local government and Covid-19 rules.

The cautionary rules are understandable given how invaluable the house and decor is (now skyrocketing thanks to House of Gucci), along with the fact that it has an impressive background:

The historical palazzo was built in the 16th century by Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, who used it as his main residence.

In the following century, Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini, who acquired the house, enlarged and embellished it to match the festivals, banquets, and dances that he hosted there.

Although House of Gucci received mixed reviews for its screenplay, it is heavily praised for the actors’ performance as well as its portrayal of high-society, which includes elements like the Villa Balbiano.

Congratulations in advance to the lucky fan who will get to experience a smidge of that splendor!
