Sophie is anxious about which photo to send to Naomi since this is a huge opportunity for her. Jesse tells the group that he’s recording music as a solo artist again.
Sid is shocked to see Meredith show up at their doorstep asking to speak to Jesse. Valentina ‘swipes’ a designer bag from work for Drew’s school auction event.
Sophie chips a tooth when she falls down a flight of stairs trying to get a good shot for her portfolio. Jesse arranges a last-minute appointment for her with an affordable dentist. Sophie is discouraged to see a lot of other struggling artists in the dentist’s office.
Later that day, Sophie ends up chipping her tooth again when Jesse’s car breaks down with a jerk. She starts to freak out about ending up a failure and Jesse gives her a pep talk.
He tells her to stop doubting herself and he’s amazed by how she sees the world with so much hope and optimism. In that moment, inspiration strikes and Sophie gets her perfect shot.

How I Met Your Father (HIMYF) is a spinoff series of the incredibly successful CBS show, How I Met Your Mother. The original show ran for nine seasons, from 2005 to 2014, quickly making its mark with a dedicated cult-like fanbase.
HIMYF was announced to start production in April 2021 with the Lizzy McGuire star Hilary Duff playing the lead called Sophie, narrating her journey to her children in the future.
