Halloween Kills Trailer: The Strodes Are Ready To Kill Michael Myers

The official trailer for Halloween Kills is here, and Michael Myers is carving and cutting people up like fruits and vegetables (a move Hannibal Lecter would surely be proud of). Halloween Kills is the latest installment in the classic Halloween franchise.

The Halloween series is one of the longest-running horror franchises of all time. John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) gave us the terrifying (yet, iconic) Michael Myers, popularizing the slasher film genre.

In 2018, David Gordon Green’s Halloween revived the franchise once again, earning more than $250 million worldwide. The reboot, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, became the highest-grossing film in the series.

Halloween Kills - Official Trailer

The trailer begins where Halloween 2018 left off, moments after Laurie Strode, her daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson left Michael Myers burning in Laurie’s basement. Laurie is being rushed to the hospital to tend to her injuries, believing she finally killed the beast.

The moment’s peace is terminated when they see a fire brigade rush by them to stop the fire. Michael manages to free himself and quickly resumes his bloodbath, slashing anyone and everyone on his way, including the whole team of firefighters present there. Poor guys, they were just trying to do their jobs!

The three generations of Strode women are seen taking matters into their own hands and are joined by other survivors, forming a mob that won’t rest until they kill the unkillable monster once and for all.

The trailer also paid an homage to Halloween III: Season Of The Witch:

Two sequels to the 2018 Film were scheduled for release in 2020 and 2021. But like several other projects, the sequels have to be pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends are slated for release in October 2021 and 2022, respectively.

The title Halloween Ends teases a new ending to the franchise, so will Michael Myers finally meet his end? Who knows? But for now, Michael Myers is simply unkillable, and he’s back to terrorize the town of Haddonfield.

Halloween Kills is set to hit theatres on October 15, 2021.
