Talking to Mira reinvigorates Rene and he gets back to working on the series. Eamonn calls Mira crying and tells her his girlfriend lost the baby. She calls him over to her hotel and the two of them get carried away and end up sleeping together. Was reconnecting with her ex a mistake?

Irma Vep Episode 4 Recap
Gautier, one of the major financiers of the series, visits Mira on set. He wants Mira to endorse the cosmetics for the Dreamscape campaign and is in the final stages of wrapping up the deal with her agent. He also has a chat with Rene and it is revealed that he only agreed to finance this project to motivate Mira into signing the Dreamscape contract. He adds that he finds the project to be too “niche” and not binge-worthy, making it unlikely to be a hit with audiences.
Rene, who is already sensitive about his creative integrity, doesn’t take this criticism of his project very well. Meanwhile, Mira is upset to hear that her agent is already in talks for signing her up for Silver Surfer despite her explicitly stating she didn’t want to do the movie. Her agent asks her to reconsider and keeps trying to persuade her to change her mind.
Cynthia arrives in France and it is revealed that she’s been cast to play Lily, a maid who is hypnotized by Moreno to do the Vampires’ bidding. Rene jolts awake one night and seemingly hallucinates a tense conversation with his ex-wife, and she asks him why she wasn’t cast as Irma Vep for the series. He then frantically texts Mira to come and speak to him at his apartment.
