Andrew Garfield Is Probably Lying About Him Featuring In Spider-Man 3

In the latest marketing run of Skittles Russia for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the website features a still of Andrew Garfield’s Spidey.  It was noticed by a fan, Twitter user @denkarasik, on October 11.

The still on the website has been lifted directly from Garfield’s ‘final’ stint as the iconic superhero; the thumbnail is Garfield’s Spider-Man too.

The event begs the question: Did Skittles slip up, or is this another stunt to maintain the hype around the Multiverse?

The secrecy around Marvel projects has become a legend unto itself. But this “mistake” gives fans a bit more meat to confirm their theories might end up being true.

Andrew Garfield has repeatedly gone on record to state that he’s not a part of Spider-Man: No Way Home. If the actor is to be believed, this is just another stunt by the creators to reel in the crowd.

Over the years, Marvel’s toy merchandising outlets have leaked much information regarding future projects. They have given projected first looks at participating characters, outfits of characters, and more.

As such, it seems like another hint for the ardent fans of The Amazing Spider-Man. Even with iron-fist secrecy, things do tend to slip from time to time.

After all, what’s more exciting than having all three versions of Spider-Man fighting side-by-side in this Multiverse?

Since Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, and even J.K. Simmons have been confirmed for reprising their roles, it stands to reason that Andrew Garfield will be making his comeback too.

If Electro, Doctor Octopus, and the Green Goblin are ready for another round, so should be Peter, Peter, and, well you guessed it, Peter. For the less humor inclined, that’s Garfield, Maguire, and Holland.

Some time ago, a leaked video went viral over the internet. The said video showcased Andrew Garfield in his Spider-Man costume, on the sets of Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the same vein, the actor judiciously denied any involvement from Marvel’s upcoming Christmas project.

While this may really be a mistake, if it turns out true, no Marvel fan will ever believe the actors again.

If things go according to plan, the project will be the “most ambitious superhero” venture in Marvel’s history (as Tom Holland stated). The chatter on the internet suggests that the multi-starrer has a significantly bigger hype than Marvel’s record-shattering Avengers: Endgame.
