A new poster for Netflix’s psychological thriller series, You, indicates that Joe Goldberg will continue stalking Marienne through the streets of Paris in the upcoming season. You season 4 part 1 will premiere on Netflix on February 9. 2023.
The series is a psychological thriller that follows a serial killer and stalker, Joe Goldberg, as he tries to manipulate and control different women by putting up a facade of being in love with them. In You season 3, Joe fakes his own death to kill his wife, Love, and puts the blame for all their crimes on her alone before fleeing to the US.
At the end of season 3, Joe is seen taking up a new name, Nick, and settling in Paris. However, the latest details about season 4 indicate a change in the setting of season 4. Netflix has revealed some details that suggest Joe Goldberg will be seen in London, taking up the disguise of a professor called Jonathan Moore.
Joe also developed a new obsession, Marienne, in season 4. However, it was not confirmed until now whether she would be a part of the next season or if Joe would continue his pursuit of her.
The official social media account for Netflix’s You has recently revealed a new poster for You season 4, confirming that Joe will indeed continue stalking Marienne aka “the one who got away” in the upcoming season.

Since it is now confirmed that Joe will continue his pursuit of Marienne in season 4, it is likely that he will travel to Paris from London to follow her. The poster also includes the Eiffel Tower in the background, hinting that Joe will follow Marienne to Paris.
Previously, there were also rumors suggesting that Joe will be seen pursuing another woman in season 4. If the rumors were true, Joe is perhaps hunting down Marienne as she knows of his past. Penn Badgley, who plays Joe in the series, also mentioned that You season 4 will see a change in the usual format.
Though Joe has traveled a lot in order to escape his past actions, he has never left the country. In season 4, we will see him relocating to a completely new country. Joe will also come across as more matured and sophisticated in the upcoming season as the teasers suggest, but the poster confirms that he will still stick to his ways to get his job done.
Marienne’s appearance in the new poster also indicates that Joe cannot completely let go of his past no matter how hard he tries. With Marienne being a part of season 4, it is possible for other characters from the previous seasons to also make a comeback, including Ellie Alves from season 2.
You season 4 will arrive on Netflix in two parts. The first part will release on February 9, 2023, while part 2 is due for release on March 9, 2023.
