Will we see Bart Allen once again in The Flash S8? Jordan Fisher Teases Return

It seems like the audience will be treated to another West-Allen family reunion in the upcoming The Flash Season 8 episodes.

Bart Allen, aka Impulse, actor Jordan Fisher posted a clip of an adorable interaction with his on-screen mother, Candice Patton, on Twitter, on April 5. Fisher captioned the tweet as “hi mom,” tagging the actress.

Patton made a cute expression as she assumed Fisher was clicking a photo, but he eventually recorded a video.

Patton plays Iris West-Allen on The Flash, Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) wife and the mother of Bart and Nora Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy). Fisher and Patton being together in the same frame suggest that the two might be filming a scene.

Bart had previously appeared on The Flash Season 8 along with his sister Nora, a meta-human speedster and a time traveler. The episode focused on the family and time travel.

The West-Allen siblings garnered a majorly positive response, so it also makes perfect sense for the creators to bring back one of them towards the end of the season.

There’s only two episodes to go before Season 8 ends. The CW greenlit Season 9 last month, so there’s no telling which episode Bart would be returning for.

However, no matter how loved by fans, the family reunion seems to suggest trouble for the West-Allen family. The last time they appeared, the family was in shambles and fighting off villains.

Meanwhile, viewers are requesting a family photo under Fisher’s tweet. The surprise of the on-screen mother-son duo meeting again has raised anticipation to see the family back together.

Moreover, many also wonder if the West-Allen siblings may be used for a spinoff series, especially since there’s no confirmation if Season 9 would be the last or not.

With multiple spinoff series being a major booster for existing series in multiple shows, and considering the siblings’ popularity, the content provided serves as a strong foundation for a potential spinoff series.

We’ll now have to wait and see when Bart Allen, aka Impulse, will mark his return and under what circumstances. The Flash Season 8 Episode 9 will premiere on April 6.
