Jurassic Park’s Original Trio Reunite in Upcoming Movie Dominion

New footage from Jurassic World: Dominion shows three of the franchise’s iconic members, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm on screen together.

After their appearance as the main cast in the first movie, Sam Neill’s Grant, Laura Dern’s Sattler and Jeff Goldblum’s Malcolm have appeared in the sequels but have missed being on-screen as the original trio. That is, until Dominion.

Exclusive footage released at CinemaCon teases us with what’s to come: Grant is seen back again in his Jurassic Park 3 outfit, while Sattler finds herself trapped inside a box that is meant for the dinosaurs (Why? How? We’d all like to know!) Can’t miss out on Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady doing everything from riding a dinosaur to getting chased by velociraptors.

Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong will be reprising their roles as Claire Dearing and Dr. Henry Wu.

The footage also shows Grant, Sattler, and Malcolm interacting with each other, so we are guaranteed an on-screen reunion.

As the sixth and final installment in the Jurassic chapter, revisits the question, “If dinosaurs lived among us, would we be safe?” Colin Trevorrow, who returns as director (being previously replaced by J A Bayona for Fallen Kingdom), gives us a clear-cut answer—No.

And with this, we know that Dominion is about to be one bumpy ride, as the genetically resurrected dinosaurs break out of their restrictive barriers and march into the modern world where they are an imminent danger to all.

The Jurassic World series was a reboot from the original three movies and all five movies have been box office hits in their own standing. From everything we’ve heard and read, especially having the old and new cast reuniting, Dominion is setting up one fantastic ending. A 2022 release may also give the box office enough time to recover and allow Dominion to perform like its predecessors.

Steven Spielberg, who directed the first movie in 1993, will see the franchise through its denouement, serving as executive producer.

We’re still months away from getting our first trailer as the film is slated for a release on June 10, 2022. But we can hope that some exclusive footage makes its way online!
