She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Director Addresses Possibility of Season 2

The upcoming MCU series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, is all set to premiere come Wednesday, August 17, 2022, on Disney+. And Kat Coiro, one of the directors, has already addressed the possibility of Season 2!

She-Hulk: Attorney at law will document the latest MCU superhero’s entry and her journey of balancing an entangled life of playing a superhuman lawyer and being an attorney to such superhumans after being infected with her cousin Hulk’s blood. The show stars Tatiana Maslany, Jameela Jamil, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, and Charlie Cox.

Previous MCU shows that have a second season in the works are Loki and What If. The latter has confirmed even a third season. Season 2 of Loki and What If are set to premiere on Disney+ in 2023.

Other MCU show characters have continued their story on the big screen, like WandaVision’s Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’s Sam Wilson in the upcoming 2024 movie Captain America: New World Order.

Marvel has not yet greenlit any other shows for a second season apart from the two previously mentioned. But Kat Coiro has made her interest known for being happy to return for Season 2 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (EW), Kat Coiro stated that only Kevin Feige, Head of Marvel Studios, knows for sure if She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will have a future.

Only Kevin Feige can answer that question. There is definitely the possibility of having a second season. There’s also the possibility of the character joining the other characters in the movies. I have no idea.

But a more hopeful additional statement by the director gives fans a glimmer of the possibility of seeing Jennifer Walters, a.k.a She-Hulk, again.

Watching Bruce and Jen, She-Hulk and He-Hulk interact, you’re going to want to see more of their dynamic together. It’s a really playful big-brother-little-sister dynamic that has a lot of depth to it, and people are going to want to see more of that in the future.

At Comic-Con 2022, a lot of MCU projects were announced in Hall H by Kevin Feige, who also stated that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be the last MCU show of Phase Four. More announcements and updates are awaited by fans since Marvel will hold another panel at the D23 Expo on September 10, 2022.

Since the upcoming legal drama will only serve as the origins of the green superhero, we can expect more updates about her future in the MCU come September.

But the possibility of seeing Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters is almost a given after her introduction to the MCU family, whether it’s with Season 2 of the comedy legal drama or features in other MCU projects.
