Keanu Reeves Surprises His Stunt Team with Unique Gifts

Keanu Reeves gave customized and distinctive presents as gifts to his stunt crew of John Wick: Chapter 4.

The John Wick series is recognized for its polished action sequences that showcase Reeves as the lead assassin defeating hordes of adversaries. The fourth installment of John Wick takes it up a notch, featuring the most monumental action scenes ever seen in the franchise.

To achieve this feat, a team of proficient stunt performers was required, and Reeves aimed to recognize their diligent efforts and loyalty towards the movie.

According to a report from The New York Times (as cited by Variety), Keanu Reeves presented every stunt worker from John Wick: Chapter 4 with a customized t-shirt that displayed the number of times they were killed in the movie.

As the protagonist eliminated numerous enemies, each stunt person was repeatedly slain during a single action scene, and some even met their demise more than 20 times throughout the film’s production.

Despite the remarkable outcome of their strenuous efforts, with John Wick: Chapter 4 being recognized as an outstanding action film, Reeves decided to recognize the hard work of the stunt team by presenting them with his own unique gifts.

Reeves is widely recognized as one of the most amicable individuals in Hollywood, and his reputation for being generous with gifts is quite well-known. The personalized t-shirts that he presented to the John Wick: Chapter 4 stunt team were not the only gifts he gave them.

In 2021, after the movie was completed, Reeves presented his five-person stunt team with Rolex Submariner watches that were valued at roughly $10,000 each. On the back of each watch, he included a personal message.

Once again, following the completion of The Matrix Resurrections, Reeves desired to show his gratitude to the stunt team and arranged an all-inclusive trip to attend the film’s premiere.

The package included tickets, lodging, and even private jets to transport them to the event. Prior to that, many years ago, Reeves purchased Harley-Davidson motorcycles for the stunt team he collaborated with on The Matrix Reloaded. It is evident that despite receiving substantial pay for his work, Reeves is eager to show his appreciation and give back.

Throughout his career, Reeves has established a reputation for himself, and his co-workers frequently express their admiration for his generosity and amiability.

In addition to grandiose gifts, he has been seen performing small acts of kindness, such as relinquishing his seat on a bus or signing a receipt for an admirer while purchasing ice cream.
