Allison and Patty try to keep Neil from opening his mouth by telling him that he too has a connection to the man who did the break-in and that he’s just as likely to be suspected. Patty pushes Allison away when she tries to talk to her about her ‘new plan.’

1. Episode 3 Speculation
Allison tries to collect money to hire a private investigator. She tries to get her job back at the diner but doesn’t succeed. After rummaging through the storage unit, she finds a collector’s item that Kevin owns and takes it to a local pawn shop with Diane. Unfortunately, the item turns out to be stolen and she isn’t able to get any money for it.
Neil keeps replaying the events of the past couple of days and tries to tell Kevin that Allison tried to kill him. However, Kevin just laughs it off and calls marriage a ‘death sentence.’ Patty finally agrees to help Allison fake her death and the two of them meet the private investigator in a deserted parking lot.

5. Episode 2 Recap
Allison and Patty tell Neil that he doesn’t have anything on them. They remind him that he’s the one with a prior record and a connection to Nick, who he hired to kill Kevin in his sleep. They tell him all he has is a story at this point, and that he’s more likely to be a killer than them.
Allison invites Patty to discuss her new plan over a donut. However, Patty maintains that she doesn’t want to be involved anymore and refuses to hear her out. Later that day, Allison visits a private investigator with Diane regarding her cheating husband. Allison explains to the P.I that Diane needs a way out of the marriage, as divorce isn’t an affordable or realistic option for her.
Allison learns that Kevin has a storage unit where he put some valuables after the break-in and asks Diane if there’s any way she could get her in. Patty gets a surprise visit from Tammy. Things get awkward when the hospital discharges Neil early and he arrives back at the house while Tammy is still there.
