Allison starts to grow more anxious and restless and starts to have visions of Nick. She and Patty go to the hospital to confirm that he’s still in a coma. Allison learns that it’s Patty’s birthday and decides to throw her a surprise party.
Tammy ends up getting involved in the party planning and there’s palpable tension and awkwardness between her and Allison. At the party, Patty freaks out because Tammy invited her clients to whom she used to sell drugs.

Sam gives Allison the number of a contact who might be able to get her the death certificate. Allison ends up telling him about her plan to fake her own death. Things are bound to get complicated now that more people are involved.
Allison will likely make an attempt to not only get Sam to stay quiet about her plan but also to help her with it.
Additionally, Tammy is going to continue to grow suspicious of Allison’s overwhelming presence in her girlfriend’s life. Especially after she saw Patty in the gas station footage.
Allison and Patty will try to steal Gertrude’s death certificate from City Hall, possibly with the help of the contact that Sam gave her.

5. Episode 4 Recap
Allison has a nightmare in which she sees Nick at her door. Patty and Allison visit Nick at the hospital, who’s still comatose despite the rumors that he moved a finger. Patty asks if Allison heard back from her P.I. and Allison tells her she hasn’t.
They run into Cindy at the hospital and Allison learns that it’s Patty’s birthday the next day. She decides to throw her a surprise party and asks Tammy to help her plan it.
Allison is still jumpy as she keeps seeing Nick and makes it seem like she got startled by Tammy coming in. They run errands for the party and Allison gets a call from Tammy and learns that the P.I called her back and they need to acquire Gertrude’s death certificate from City Hall.
Allison asks Sam for help to get her into City Hall and also for a cake for Patty’s party. Tammy witnesses their interaction and deduces that the two of them had an affair and later asks Allison about it.
