Knightmare Costumes of Seven ‘Justice League’ Members at Dallas, Texas

Justice League‘s Knightmare costumes have been fully revealed for seven characters, including Deathstroke, Joker, and the Flash.

A YouTube video uploaded by AListProductions exhibits many of Justice League’s Knightmare costumes. The costumes are presently on display at an exhibit in Dallas, Texas. Seven different characters’ Knightmare costumes can be glimpsed, including Batman, Joker, Mera, Cyborg, Deathstroke, Flash, and one of the future regime’s super soldiers.

There is no hiding that Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be very different from the disappointing theatrical outing of the 2017 film. The Snyder Cut of Justice League has been announced to be four hours long. This means that there will be lengthened scenes and expanded character moments to stimulate the narrative even further.

Now, the costumes from the Knightmare period reveal major plot developments the Snyder Cut is likely to include. From what can be derived from the video, it looks like the titular heroes and some other characters will have several outfits to swap between over the Snyder Cut’s four-hour runtime.

One of the most anticipated sequences incorporated in Snyder’s version is the Knightmare storyline introduced from 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This post-apocalyptic outlook is expected to play a crucial part in the director’s cut, furnishing clues on how the strong superhero team lost to Apokolips’ forces steered by Darkseid.

A fresh look at some of the characters that will be included in the sequence has been uncovered.

Amber Heard’s Mera and Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke’s surprise inclusion implies that this sequence will consist of an all-star lineup of DC characters.

The garb of Mera stays true to its Atlantean roots, and the inclusion of the blasters that were spotlighted in Aquaman is a great bonus. Mera is seen managing Aquaman’s trident, and the lack of an Aquaman Knightmare costume indicates his death in that grim timeline.

Meanwhile, Deathstroke’s protective uniform appears to have been a sufferer of wear and tear, evidently hinting that the villain has fought a plethora of parademons along the way. We also see Deathstroke’s gun loaded with Kryptonite bullets, which can be another allusion to Superman’s dark turn.

The Joker is also seen sporting Harley Quinn’s handguns, and the Superman emblem on the super-soldier suit teases the Kyptonian’s evil empire. How the Knightmare timeline will be reintroduced in Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be intriguing, but it’s acceptable to assume that Snyder will do it through Bruce Wayne’s viewpoint.

The short dream sequence from Dawn of Justice didn’t give ample context on what’s really happening. However, it appears that the sequence from the first film will give fans a flavor of what’s to come.
