Loki Gets New Magic Powers In New MCU Show

New powers of Loki has been seen in the trailer. Loki premieres in less than two weeks on Disney+ and Marvel Studios has unveiled yet another teaser trailer for the Tom Hiddleston-led series. On Thursday, Marvel unveiled a new teaser, aptly titled Chaos.

Loki begins June 9 on Disney+, with new episodes airing every Wednesday. The new Loki trailer gives us our first look at Time Variance Authority agent Mobius’ (Owen Wilson) powers that are possibly connected to that collar around Loki’s neck,  they dont let loki disappear or use his powers.

And we also get another peek at that new superpower: shooting green projectiles from one’s hands.

Loki looks to change, the fact that he was not able to use his full abilities, with the God of Mischief using his magic to take on a slew of new enemies. It helps that he’s the center of this new project; he’s allowed to be more victorious this time around.

After engaging the audience earlier this year with with WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the MCU will be back with its newest show in just two weeks. Loki sees Tom Hiddleston, into the spotlight for the first time, return as the titular villain once again.

The MCU has largely focused on Loki’s penchant for illusions, but the Disney+ show can provide the chance to dig into the untapped areas of his skillset.

Loki is a truly fascinating character with a deep well of compelling stories in his comic book history. Hopefully, his show can give him the showcase he deserves, particularly when it comes to what he is capable of.
