Loki Season 2 Set Photos Hint at Connection to the Eternals

Recent pictures from the sets of Loki Season 2 hint at a major connection between the series and the Eternals. The makers are currently filming Season 2 in and around London, and bystanders are allowed to click pictures of the set.

Loki Season 1 ended with Loki, Mobius M. Mobius, and the Time Variance Authority figuring out the repercussions of Sylvie killing He Who Remains in the Citadel.

Though not much is known about the plot of Season 2, pictures from the sets have surfaced on the internet, hinting at where the story could progress after Kang’s attack on the Sacred Timeline.

Various photos feature both Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson in formal wear, while the latest pictures hint at a direct connection with the Eternals.

The team has been shooting outside Noel Theater in London. In the pictures, a fictional movie poster can be spotted, featuring Kingo, a Bollywood actor played by Kumail Nanjiani in the Eternals.

The other movie posters also include Easter eggs connected to various Z-list Marvel characters such as Zaniac and Phone Ranger. Check the photos out here:

Going by the posters, the scene most likely takes place in 1974, during a movie premiere. In this scene, we see Loki and Mobius in black-tie attire, trying to enter the theater while stars walk down the red carpet.

Apart from Hiddleston sporting a formal suit with Wilson, a red double-decker bus with an advertisement for Pearl on the top was also spotted by fans on the sets.

Directors of Moon Knight, Aaron Moorhead, and Justin Benson are all set to helm the Season 2 episodes, while Eric Martin has taken over the show’s writing from Michael Waldron. Season 1 was directed by Kate Herron, who quit the series claiming that she had already given her everything to the character.

Marvel Studios and Disney+ have not announced a release date for Loki Season 2 yet.
