The Silvon elf Arondir, tasked to watch the townspeople and report to the High Elves King, had grown fond of the local healer Bronwyn. But his duties forbade elf-human relationships, and after the High Elves King declares peace, he is forced to return to Lindon.

He returns to the village one last time only to hear nefarious events unfolding at Hordern, instantly leaving on a quest to unravel the mysterious incident that razed the Hordern dwellers.

Nori the Harfoot seeks adventure in life, and her wish is fulfilled when she witnesses a strange giant creature falling from the sky in a meteor.

6. Episode 2 Recap

In Episode 2, Adronir finds tunnels leading to the town he watched over, unnatural tunnels built by someone not human. He is captured by the creatures, most likely orcs, as he escapes from one of the tunnels into a cave. Meanwhile, Bronwyn urges the townspeople to leave after she and Theo vanquish an orc.

Galadriel

Theo accidentally sets off some sort of beacon, and, if theories stand correct, signals Sauron’s return from hiding.

Galadriel is adrift at sea when she comes across sailors who lost their ship to a sea creature attacking their vessel. But one of the sailors tells her of his village being brought down by orcs, solidifying her resolution to complete her mission of ridding the realms of orcs and defeating Sauron.

Elrond works under Celebrimbor, the elf-smith who creates the rings of power in LOTR. To achieve his work with the artisan, he tries to call in a favor with his friend, the dwarf prince Durin—forming a never-happened-before alliance between elves and dwarves.

At first, Durin is determined not to hear his plea but is appeased by the end. His father warns him that the elf’s request cannot coincidentally match the time when the dwarves are secretly making some weapon.

Nori befriends the giant creature that fell from the sky, dragging Poppy along in her quest to help the strange being. But the end of the episode reveals the deadly nature of the being’s powers, possibly foreshadowing a formidable foe.
