Mayor of Kingstown S2 Episode 6: Release Date, Recap, and Speculation

Mike’s old promise to get Bunny and the other gang leaders out is getting stale with each episode, but this new episode brings a new danger to light. With the Mexican leader burned alive, Bunny fears for his own life; for better or worse, Mike McLusky is the only one who can get them out.

Something tells us things will only get bloodier and more dangerous. Milo is still searching for his treasure, with Horace’s wife ending up as Joseph’s latest victim, but someone has stolen the treasure. Will things take a turn for the worse in episode 6 of the Mayor of Kingstown?

Episode 6 Synopsis/Speculation

Episode 6 might show Bunny at his breaking point, where he will cut off all ties with Mike, which may mean that the Mayor of Kingstown will lose an ally and potentially gain a new enemy.

But before Bunny can set out to keep his promise to Mike, which he made a few episodes ago, threatening to hurt his family, he needs to find a way out of prison. And he needs to do it fast because it looks like a gang war is imminent after Luis’ death.

The future of Kingstown doesn’t look good, with a gang war on the brink and the inmates’ friends clamoring for their freedom. The city was shaken by one prison riot, but if the action comes down in the streets, shit will most definitely hit the fan.

Milo is now on the hunt for the lost bonds, which could mean a possible face-to-face meet-up between him and Mike, which is quite exciting. But who was the masked guy who stole the bonds? Was he one of Milo’s, or is there a new mystery burglar out on the town?

Kyle may have gotten his job back, but he is still unsure if he should return to the police department. With fatherhood almost upon him, he’ll soon have to decide where he wants to put his allegiance.

I’m sure things will only get worse in episode 6 for Mike, but when is the next episode supposed to be available for streaming?

Episode 5 Recap

Mayor of Kingstown S2 Episode 6: Release Date, Recap, and Speculation
Bunny in Anchor Bay Prison

After Tent City was emptied, Bunny’s cousin Rhonda led the family and friends of the gang leaders to Mike, asking what he intends to do about the situation. Mike reassures them with the same dull promise while Carney informs him that two of the leaders are at Anchor Bay, and Mike asks him to find out if the others, including Bunny, are there too.

Meanwhile, Horace’s wife turns up dead, and Stevie informs Mike, who asks him to move the bonds but not log them in the system, lest Milo gets the intel and captures it. Carney confirms Bunny and the four leaders are at Anchor Bay under the new jurisdiction of Captain Moore, but prisoners keep turning up dead.

Kyle is reinstated at his job and shares his new insecurities about his career and ability to be a good father with his wife. Luis gives up on Mike and asks Bunny and the others to do the same and look out for themselves. Somewhere else, Milo chews out Joseph for killing the two people who knew the last location of the bonds and sets out to do the job himself.

At that moment, a masked man breaks into the PD and steals the bonds, and Stevie updates Mike on the development, who was busy setting up a deal with the DA to get the transferred inmates out.

But Bunny is put in the Kill box after being brutally beaten up by corrupt guards, and Luis is burned alive in his cell, spelling danger for all Anchor Bay prisoners.
