The cover poster finally shifts the limelight on the Young Avenger, Kate Bishop, and the article, on Hailee Steinfeld’s journey of gearing up to step into the shoes of the highly-awaited Young Avenger.

Staying true to the comics, Steinfeld dons Kate’s purple and black tracksuit with her signature elegant bow and quiver slung over her shoulders with purple arrows. The actress talked about the young archer’s personality, calling her “brave” and “unafraid”.

Even the latest Hawkeye teaser gives us a glimpse of Kate, the 22-year-old Hawkeye fan who will eventually take up the superhero mantle.

She gives off peak Gen Z energy by complimenting her own skills in front of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton, calling herself “the world’s greatest archer.”

For almost three years since Marvel Studios announced Kate Bishop would make her MCU debut with Hawkeye, fans have been eagerly waiting to see the dynamic between the two-generation superheroes.

Kate Bishop was introduced in Marvel Comics in the 2000s, created by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung for the Young Avengers comic.

Her grooming journey will be filled with speed bumps, but she’ll eventually find her way as Clint guides her throughout.

Even in reality, Renner revealed that he took on the same mentor role during filming. He shared that he would give Steinfeld notes on how filmmaking is usually done with all the “green screen, superhero life, all that stuff.”

Hawkeye

The Hawkeye series takes a slightly different turn than the comics. In the comics, Clint is dead, leading to Kate creating a Young Avengers team as the new Hawkeye. Sometime later, the Scarlet Witch revives him, and they battle the bad guys side-by-side.

In the Disney+ show, Clint is very much alive but is taking a break after going through losing his family and then getting them back in Endgame. As luck always has it, bad guys never give good guys any family time.

The journey of Kate Bishop and Hawkeye will be released on November 24 every Wednesday exclusively on Disney+.
