Yellowjackets Season 1 Episode 9 Recap
Shauna confronts Adam at his apartment assuming he’s the blackmailer and stole her journals. She starts to have flashbacks of the past and ends up stabbing him. Adam dies. She returns home to find her journals back in the safe. It turns out that Jeff was actually the blackmailer. He was having money trouble after he turned to some loan sharks to save his furniture business.
The two decide to frame Adam as the blackmailer since he’s dead anyway. Shauna calls Nat and Taissa and tells them she killed Adam when he attacked her. The women discuss how to get rid of Adam’s body.
Back in 1996, the group has resorted to eating worms since they’ve completely run out of food. One of the girls tells the group about how she was saving berries that have probably fermented into alcohol by now. The group decide to have one last celebration and call it their “Doomcoming.”
Things go sideways when the hallucinogenic mushrooms Misty wanted to use on Coach Ben end up getting mixed in the community pot. The mushrooms start to take affect and some of the girls chase Travis through the woods with knives, believing him to be a stag to hunt. Nat bursts in at the last moment and stops the girls from killing him.
