Marvel is pretty good at keeping secrets as not much is known about the upcoming Moon Knight series. However, a new behind-the-scenes video has surfaced on YouTube that shows a set video featuring an action sequence.
Shooting started in April this year, and the principal photography for the series is currently ongoing in Budapest.
The leaked clip shows a filming crew following a person wearing a cloaked costume as they sprint along the sidewalk on a street before jumping up high in the air, supported by wires.
Some fans guessed the character could be Midnight Man. Gaspard Ulliel was recently revealed to be playing the villain.
Oscar Isaac is playing the titular character, and cast members so far include May Calamawy, Loic Mabanza, and Ethan Hawke in undisclosed roles.
A photographer based in Budapest (@tibor.proart) posted the clip.
Hawke recently spoke to The Watch podcast about the role,
Well, it’s where I’m at as an actor. A lot of it, to be honest, I love the fact that Moon Knight is a lesser-known story and allows more creative freedom. The director is Mohammed Diab, and he’s a brilliant guy.

A lot of it is Oscar, to me, to be honest with you. I find him to be a very exciting player in my field. I like what he’s doing with his life. He reminds me of the actors, when I first arrived in New York, that I looked up to. Oscar’s younger than me, and I like the way he carries himself, and I like the way he thinks. And in general, good things happen when you’re in the room with people that you like the way they think, right?

Hawke also recently revealed that Isaac asked Hawke in a coffee shop if he wanted to be in the Marvel series.
In the comics, Moon Knight possesses heightened martial arts and combat skills. A while ago, videos of Isaac training hard for the role surfaced online, and fans are already excited for the series.
Moon Knight does not have a release date yet but will supposedly premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
