Ms. Marvel Episode 4 Speculation
Kamran rushes to Aamir’s wedding reception to warn Kamala about his mother planning an attack on her family in order to take the bangle from her by force. Kamala manages to evacuate the reception hall by pulling the fire alarm. Just as the Djinns corner her, the FBI raids the hall, giving Kamala and Bruno enough time to escape.
Nakia sees Kamala use her powers and is furious at her for hiding the truth from her. It’s clear that Nakia disapproves of the superhero due to the negative consequences she had on the community. Ms. Marvel Episode 3 Recap
The episode starts with a flashback to 1942 in British-occupied India. A group searches through the ruins of a structure for the bangle and it is revealed that there were originally two. Najma and Aisha separate during another incoming attack from the British army as the structure collapses around them. In the present, Najma who is seemingly ageless, tells Kamala that was the last time she saw her great-grandmother.
Najma explains that their group was exiled from another dimension and the power of ‘Noor’ runs through all of them. She adds that they can’t access Noor’s full potential but it seems like Kamala can. As Kamala tells Bruno about this new development, The Department of Damage Control pays a visit to Kamala’s family mosque to inquire about the ‘enhanced individual’ that had been spotted in the city recently.
Najma tells Kamala about the FBI visit and expresses her frustration with the enhanced individual for putting another target on their backs. Kamala starts to feel conflicted about using the bangle’s powers to become a superhero and wonders if helping Najma go back to her dimension is her true purpose.
