No Kingpin or Daredevil Appearance in She-Hulk Episode 7

Neither Daredevil nor Kingpin appeared in She-Hulk Episode 7, releasing this week. Following the events of the previous episodes, fans expected MCU characters such as Daredevil and Kingpin to make an appearance in the episode. However, it moved in another direction instead.

The latest MCU series on Disney+, She-Hulk has been receiving mixed reactions since the beginning. While some fans have been enjoying the non-Marvel vibe of the show, many fans have found it boring and predictable. The series has been able to deliver on some expectations. However, it failed to deliver on much of what was expected of it.

She-Hulk Episode 5 featured a small glimpse of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil’s updated suit. This, and the fact that he’s also a lawyer, led viewers to believe that a Matt Murdock special appearance will be up soon. However, the first season is about to end in three episodes, and there’s been no sign of Daredevil yet.

Episode 6 came and went with no sign or mention of Daredevil. With the recent track involving the Wrecking Crew and fore-shadowing, viewers naturally expected to see Kingpin as well as Daredevil in the series.

However, not only do they not appear, Episode 7 sort of concludes the Wrecking Crew arc and introduces a new villain in the series. At the end of the episode, it is revealed that Josh, Jen’s latest date, is not the dreamy guy we thought he was.

A flashback reveals that after Josh slept with Jen three days earlier, he collected some of her Hulk blood and copied all the data from her phone. He collects these for the yet-to-be-seen villain, Hulk King, who was mentioned in Episode 6 itself. So, we now have brand-new villains whom Jen needs to deal with.

This is the same man that Nikki discovered on an online platform in Episode 6. HulkKing was an anonymous user who had been posting online about how to kill and cancel She-Hulk.

This means the chances of Daredevil or Kingpin appearing in the series are less now, considering the Wrecking Crew arc has reached its end and Jen now has bigger problems to deal with. Moreover, there was absolutely no hint or mention of either Daredevil or Kingpin in Episodes 6 and 7.

There are not many episodes left before Season 1 ends now. However, we never know with the MCU, especially since Daredevil made a surprise cameo in the She-Hulk trailer as well.

But it is strange how the Wrecking Crew arc came to an end so abruptly. Even in the last episode, one of the scientists watching She-Hulk took the needle that the Wrecking Crew broke on She-Hulk’s skin in a previous episode, replacing it with another one.

But Episode 7 focuses largely on other things, such as Jen waiting for Josh’s text and Emil Blonsky’s inhibitor problems.

Let’s wait and see what the last three episodes have in store for us.
