A Major Character Is Missing In Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser

The sneak peek has a lot of blink-and-miss shots that reveal almost nothing but just enough to keep fans engaged. It is exciting and can fuel theories and predictions for a week or so. But in complete fairness, the fans will soon long for more as most of the teaser comprises clips from the first three seasons.

In the teaser, Eleven has a Joyce-like haircut and is caught by some men in suits who look villainous. Max, Steve, Dustin, Nancy, Lucas, and Robin are seen in an old dusty house. By the looks of it, Hopper is also seen in the same house. (possibly Claremont House?)

One of the new shots sees someone looking at a burning crashed car with their back facing the camera. Weirdly enough, Mike and Will were nowhere to be seen in the newer clips, so we can only hope it’s either one of them.

Eleven makes an ominous prediction and says, “It’s coming… It’s almost here,” with the shot of a clock (for some reason, there’s way too much emphasizing on the clock).

Will there be time travel as well? Will we get flashbacks? Previous teaser hints at Dr. Brenner returning as well. Guess we’ll have to wait to find out.

Stranger Things returns in 2022.

However, it’s not clear when in 2022 the fourth season will premiere… only time will tell. But with filming almost completed, it might be sometime early next year.

The Teaser Description Reads

In an interview with ComicBook.com, actor Joe Keery talked about the future of the series.

“You know I really can’t say anything, but I don’t also really know what the end game is. I’ve gotten little bits and pieces, but me and the brothers have spoken about specific ideas that would be really cool for the character.

So, once it all does come to a close, I have faith in those two guys and Shawn (Levy), as well, that they will do it right.”

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment. The brothers serve as writers, directors, executive producers, and showrunners on the series alongside executive producer/director Shawn Levy and EP Dan Cohen and Iain Paterson.

The teaser is also set to air during NBC’s Tokyo Olympics coverage.
