Netflix Faces Major Backlash After Mocking Subscribers

Netflix subscribers were already considering dropping the service, after changes were made to its password-sharing policies, when they take another dunk at their members. In the latest social media engagement strategy gone wrong, the streamer reposted a Taco Bell post to their story, mocking their subscribers’ discontent with the frequent cancellations.

As soon as the story was up, with a caption saying, “I’ve never related to anything more,” the Netflix subscribers flooded their comments with severe backlash. 

Soon enough, “What the hell Netflix” was also trending on Twitter with over 20K posts with raging fans complaining about their distasteful post. Check out their Instagram story screenshot and the tweets below:

Not a good look, Netflix – Not. A. Good. Look. And for those of you wondering about the accompanying trending hashtags for saving Warrior Nun, that’s regarding the latest infamous cancellation by Netflix.

Among Netflix’s various cancellations, the majority of these shows end up being TV series with the applaudable representation of several overlooked communities. Warrior Nun is just the most recent scapegoat in that category, and fans of the one-season series have taken up various methods to implore the streamer to bring it back.
